Okay, I admit it. I am an utter and complete loser. Prizes for 'Thon '06 did not get mailed. Because - well - I suck. I fully and truly admit that. However! I want to make good on those. Despite moving and misplacing everything I hold dear (damn you boxes!!!) - I have managed to find all of the journals which were won from last year. I amaze myself! So, in no particular order, here is what I remember from last year. (Aided by sticky notes on the journals and by the prize page template in my
EE. I <3
EE.)
April cleaned up last year. She won three prizes. She was a font of information! Below are the prizes she won.

(Actually, I admit it. I cannot, for the life of me, find this blue one. However, I have a yellow one which is in the same vein which I will send out instead.
Update: I found the blue one! Yay!)
Sarah won this Irish Journal.
Rambler won this journal, which I bought in Costa Rica and is made, partly, from banana leaves. Very cool.
Kentucky Girl won this durable, fabric-covered black journal. I bought it in Australia. I'm weird. I know.
Suki won this felt green journal, ever so wittingly labeled 'Journal' on the front.
And that's what I have for prizes! (= The teddy bear *did* get sent out last year. I did not forget that one. Betty won that.
Anyway - I'll be trying to contact all of these lovely people to get their addresses to send out their prizes. Yes, I'm a year late, but - I figure - better late than never? (;
If you know where they can be reached - drop me a line and let me know! burningwords at
GMail dot com
Edit: I managed to find contact info for everyone but April. Anyone know how I can get in touch with her? O_o
Edit #2: Suki's and Rambler's journals were mailed today! Kentucky Girl opted to throw hers back in the kitty for this year. I think Sarah is of the same mind, but I emailed her to be sure and have not yet heard back from her. Still trying to get in touch with April.
. . . the Academy and all of my - oh. Wrong speech. BUT!
Blogathon.org/" title="LOOK!">LOOK!
Daria, Kyle, and I have been nominated for the Audience Participation category! EEE! Isn't that utterly exciting?! Well. *I* thought so. ::chuckles::
Our dear
Luka,
Yoshi, and
Fembat are also in there. How COOL. (=
The winners will be decided by the 'core' team and the monitor team leaders. Going to be rough for them!
The true sign that the
Blogathon is over....
I have changed back to my other theme. Oh - sadness. I actually miss the 'Thon theme. I think after staring at it for 24 hours, it was like - home. Don't get me wrong, I adore this layout, but it is going to take some time to readjust.
Anyway. I've decided I need some new things.
Thing One!
I need to redo the 'about' section there. ::points:: The stuff under "digital angel". So - leave me a comment! How would *you* describe me? Yesssss. This is your chance to tell me what you think of me. ::snickers:: Go on. Be creative! (=
Thing Two!
New smilies. I adore my current smilies, don't get me wrong, but they are - lacking. There are just some missing that I wish I had. So - anyone know where I could get a new set of smilies? (= (Yes, I'm willing to pay for them. They don't necessarily have to be free...)
It's about that time! All of the bloggers can log in and vote for a blog for an award!
Here are the awards...
- Best Blog
- Cat's Choice
- Best Visual Arts Project
- Best Fiction Writing Project
- Best Non-Fiction Writing Project
- Best Music Project
- Best Audience Participation Project
- Best Undefinable Project
- Most Funds Raised
Now, Most Funds raised isn't me at all, though I did very well and I <3 my sponsors for that! (=
But I could be nominated for anything else. (; We apparently get eight votes, so I'm so excited. I would LOVE to be nominated for the general voting public. Even if I don't win, it'd be nice to be nominated out of the 285 blogs out there, ya know? (=
Anyway. I'm off to put in my votes...
The rest of you lovely bloggers, don't forget to put in your votes! (=
